About Nadun:

After finishing my Ph.D. at Michigan Technological University (MTU), I Joined Appalachian State University in August 2021. My research interests are in the field of applied and computational mathematics. I'm interested in developing higher-order robust numerical methods to solve partial differential equations. I mainly focus on meshless methods such as the Radial Basis Functions Method. These methods can be applied to many problems, such as modeling groundwater flow. I'm also interested in developing and studying new teaching methods to help students in their learning. I'm also a Quality Matters certified online course reviewer. I enjoy working with people on projects. Therefore, please feel free to contact me if you are interested in collaborating. In terms of my hobbies, I love photography! Especially landscape photography. I like to travel to various places and take pictures while enjoying nature. I also like to hang around with friends, play games, go hiking and watch movies.
