About Amber Mellon
Amber Mellon is a two time graduate of Appalachian State University. Her passions inside the classroom is to teach others the importance of mathematics, especially through personal finance. Her work includes how to incorporate personal finance into classes such as Pre-Calculus. She has had the opportunity to speak to several groups in the Watauga County area about personal finance.
Outside of the classroom, Amber is involved in the community. She is the faculty advisor for Phi Mu - Lambda Beta on campus. Amber is also actively involved in MathCounts and Girl Scouts. Amber is married, a mother, and a best friend to a dog named Red.
