About Michael Bossé

In the role of Distinguished Professor, Dr.  Bossé administers the Mathematics Education Leadership Training program (MELT) at Appalachian State University. This program provides professional development, through CEUs or graduate credits, to K-12 mathematics teachers. This professional development includes novel investigations into mathematical content, pedagogy, and epistemology associated with K-12 mathematics as well as addressing the needs of teacher leaders.

As a professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Dr.  Bossé is continually involved in teaching and scholarship. His scholarly contributions to the field are extensive.
