About Gregory Rhoads
I graduated with a B.S. in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 1985 and continued my employment at the National Bureau of Standards as a programmer. I entered graduate school at Purdue in 1987, earning an M.A. and then a Ph.D. in Mathematics specializing in complex analysis in 1995. Upon graduation, I became a faculty member in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Appalachian State University, where I am still currently employed. I served as assistant chair of the department from 2001 – 2005.
