She will present on: Background, Current Situation and Training Strategies of TPACK for Mathematics Pre-service Teachers

Talk Overview: With the wide application of new technologies in the field of education, there are more expectations and challenges for teachers’ knowledge structure and teaching quality. In 2006, Dr. Mishra and Dr. Kohler proposed TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge), and it becomes an important framework to explore and understand the knowledge required to effectively integrate technology into the teaching of a specific subject field. The purpose of this talk is to introduce the current status of TPACK research in China, understand the current situation of Mathematics pre-service teachers’ TPACK, explore the relevant factors affecting TPACK of Mathematics pre-service teachers, and summarize the promotion strategies of TPACK.
